STUDIO HARU™ Agenda Update
Hi everyone! Grace here, hope you are having a good start to the month. It is March already… say whaaaat?!!! Time is flying, quite literally.
As we start a new month [and STUDIO HARU keeps on growing], we saw fit to start giving you updates on what’s to come to the studio for the months ahead [also since we like to experiment with a lot of fun things here… just trying to keep you up to speed…ha 😅]. Of course, we are all about NO SPAMING, so these updates will happen every 3 to 4 months, or “quarterly” [give or take] via blog post. This way [in combination with our newsletter] you will know what to expect on STUDIO HARU™.
In the agenda:
So, what’s to come? [You may ask] As you may have seen [or heard], we are launching a podcast show called
“I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING”, in this show we embrace the chaos of entrepreneurship with a sense of humor and a spirit of adventure! We will have conversations with small business owners uncovering the quirky realities of “being your own boss”. Whether we're sharing epic fails or surprising successes, we aim to bring you real, relatable stories from the trenches of entrepreneurship.
Previously, the show was to air in February, however, we decided to push the season premier for this summer [get ready, summer will be packed!]. In the meantime, we have some [very cool in my opinion] show merch available, if you’re interested!
Next, I am sure you saw the prelaunch of our creative workshops “COLLECTIVE MINDS”. Last year, I had the opportunity to be an instructor at a local store teaching sewing and after it ended, of course, it was a no-brainer for me to embark on this journey on my own. The great thing about Collective Minds is that you will not only see sewing [my main area of expertise] workshops, but also tufting [a newfound love of mine], cake decorating, and many more!
[I want to teach you everything I know, and perhaps help you discover your new passion].
Collective Minds workshops will be starting this summer [in July] with sewing and tufting classes, but [actually] you don’t need to wait till July, you can book a workshop RIGHT NOW! [why wait, am I right?]. If you are already planning your summer activities, why not add this fun experience to your list?✨️♡
[But wait!] I know that a good number of you are not located here in NYC [very international audience, I seeee 😅], and because of this, we have also created Collective Minds Online! where you can take the classes/workshops online in the comfort of your home [Ok,,, that’s…that’s really neat, that’s really neat], and at your own pace [cool, right?😎 I know, I know 😏], now, the great thing is that you will not have to wait till July to take Collective Minds Online classes, as these will be available this Spring season between April and May 🌸.

Also, coming to the shop in the next couple of months are Japanese stationery brands! [how cool!] [straight from Japan… of course]. We had scheduled for these new items to launch, now [in March] but [running a small business is never a straight line… ha.ha.ha😵💫] we have been experiencing some delays [unfortunately], but they are coming, they’re coming. We are curating an awesome selection of items including washi tape, stickers, stamps, and other goodies! [omg, I can’t wait].
The next new thing that we have coming to the studio are CANDLES!… [OMG OMG OMG] If you know me, you know that I LOOOOVE CANDLES! [I… no kidding guys], I have an extensive collection of candles and it keeps on growing [am IIIII THE DRAMAAAAA?]. I’ve been waiting to learn how to make them for the longest time, and I’m finally doing so, I can not wait to show you and bring you an awesome candle collection that you will love.

And lastly [because this is getting actually quite long]… This perhaps is not as exciting… [saddly], but on Monday, March 18, 2024, we will be doing a small price increase on our stationery products. These are die-cut stickers, sticker sheets, and [medium and mini] notepads. I know this is not exciting and fun, everything in this economy is going bunkers [that includes material to make our products]. We are still going to provide our products at the fairest [possible] price in the market, so we can [as we grow] provide livable wages for us and great products for you. I see some of you have a couple of items in your carts [still], some of them stationery, so if you’ve been thinking about it, this is the time to take advantage before the prices go up.
To give you a quick breakdown example of the increases: die-cut stickers will change from $3.00 to $4.00 and sticker sheets from $4.00 to $4.50.
